Definitely does the job. We had to rig up a cushion to get the weight plates to fit as the opening are too wide for smaller plates

This is the 2nd one I bought. Item had a few defective parts. Contacted manufacturer, they asked for a few pics and sent me replacement parts in a timely manner. Durable rack. I use the barbells to move it easier. Cant believe how much weight this bad boy can handle.
