      Missing a Part

      Parts well-packed and labelled, instructions very clear, quite IKEA-like. However my package was missing Part #2, the side piece holding the pen container. Because the part looked similar to Part #22, the pen container itself, I mistakenly believed all the parts were included. Only when I got to that part of the assembly did I realize the part was missing.

      While not a critical piece, I'm obviously disappointed and will be returning this, having to pay for the return shipping cost. Bit of a shame as I really wanted to like this desk.

      Well-built with great instructional images, but....

      I am OCD about buying things sight unseen. I was impressed with the box and how well it arrived undamaged. All pieces were in package and well labeled. It took me about 1 hour by myself to put together. Only thing...instruction manual was in German...thank you for the instructional images though which were excellent!!
      My wife was happy with the final product and fits our office space well.

      Great product for the price! Perfect for budding artist or seasoned hobbyist. Easy to assemble, instructions were noticeably better than most, well-done!

      5 stars with a caveat

      This drafting table is great quality and looks exactly like the photo. Upon opening, I noticed there was a small scratch on the worktop surface. Because it was cosmetic, I didn't get too bent out of shape. Overall, no qualms with the look and materials.My issue is that the directions are absolutely horrendous. Everything was going smoothly until all the metal bars needed to connect together for the underside of the desktop. It was impossible to see what went where and I ended up attaching the top wrong, causing it to fall and break off the hinges. I'm now going to have to buy wood glue to patch the holes and refit the screws so I can attach it properly. I didn't deduct any stars because it was user error and I was assembling it alone -- but be warned, you'll definitely need two people so no parts fall off when you inevitably can't figure out how to put it together.Other than that, the pieces I was able to get together are study and it's a very nice looking drafting table/desk. I'm just bummed I busted it before even getting to use it.
