Yaheetech Glass Drafting Table 28’’ to 36’’

It's solid, and I'm not planning to lift it up and down, so it goes well in my space. The side pockets aren't that useful for me, but c'est la vie. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it. But a caveat: I've put together a LOT of furniture, and this was still not easy. Doable, but not easy.

* First off, Yaheetech was absolutely amazing sending out not one, but two replacement parts within a week and I greatly appreciate the effort they made. This drafting table was the perfect compact glass top table I have been looking for. Primarily because of it's compact size that can fit between my two other desks; Although, I did have to inevitably remove the tray to fit it in there.It's sturdy with a mat black finish, and I had no trouble assembling it once I had all the pieces. The actuating arm seems to bear the weight when I lean down on it. The stool included holds my weight at 210 lbs, and it's comfortable enough. The few things I would have liked to see while constructing the desk is as follows: Better retaining pin system for the trays. Move the actuating arm up onto of the slide railing so I can move the little desk portion all the way in. Finally, the guide rail on the front of the desk is slightly flimsy due to only being attached by two screws. With one more screw to tie the guide rail in it would be solid.I am quite happy with the desk and the level of support Yaheetech provided.

I cant speak highly enough about this drafting table. I am a VERY beginning artist and this has been absolutely perfect for me. Plenty of workspace.The glass top makes it very easy to clean up any paint splatter. I was also able to place an LED light under the glass to use for tracing (againbeginner here).The sliding shelf is great for my laptop (or sushi) to watch tutorials or for reference pictures. The basket drawers give you lots of storage (I do wish they had some kind of handle, because its a bit rough to get them open and closed without oneI will likely add this myself soon).I added some other personal touches, with a paper towel holder attached under the sliding shelf, and a Command hook to hang my heat gun.The stool is comfortable for me (Im 54), but will likely invest in something adjustable with a back. But for the money, definitely cannot complain.As for assembly, this is a two-person job. There was just one hiccup where a screw hole wasnt quite right, but we finessed it to work.Definitely recommend!

Starting with the not-so-great... Box came in laughable condition. Was not handled with care thats for sure. The wood on the sliding side table did have a chip in its side but doesnt show when assembled nor does it affect functionality. A couple of the metal pieces had to be bent and shaped back into place so that it would fit together properly. The assembly was somewhat straightforward but I would say its intermediate level and not so beginner friendly. All-in-all, its a good table that fits my needs.

Product overall quality is good. Easy to assemble if you follow the video. About 30 minutes if youre experienced and probably about a hour if you aint.Biggest drawback is the pencil tray comes really dented so be warned. Well its glass so easy to smudge and easy to clean. The stool feels cheap but for the price is acceptable. Also just know you wont receive a pretty package or opening experience.
