A nice backyard firepit

We've enjoyed our fire pit. It is very easy to assemble, light weight, and has a nice finish that holds up to high heat. My only ding would be that the ventilation is high on the sides, so the bottom of the fire gets little oxygen. This has lead to some smokey fires, despite exceptionally dry wood. To remedy, I simply drilled 4 half inch holes in the bottom, and processed my wood just a little more (forearm thick). That seems to have done the trick. All in all, we're pleased.

Outstanding fire pit... love it!!!

This fire pit is awesome. Definitely follow the dude that recommended the fire bricks, sand and heat paint.
Easy to assemble, but make sure to paint it with heat paint before you use it. The paint will seal the fire pit.

Well-designed, attractive fire pit with grill option

My family loves this well designed, sturdy and attractive fire pit for our patio. It is perfect for nice ambience and for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. The moon and stars vents and elevation off the ground help to ventilate the fire and also provide nice heat when sitting around the fire. The rim around the pit is a nice addition, too, for perching a stick for roasting or resting your feet to get toasty. We do use the grill feature frequently. The screen and fire poaker are also nice quality. We took the advice of others by drilling a hole in the bottom for drainage and putting a coat of black, high heat/block engine paint on the inside. No sand or bricks needed. It doesnt blow around. We did purchase a waterproof cover too.

Very pretty design, built well.

I have received many comments from friends that the fire pit is very lovely. I would definitely recommend buying a cover for it, as there is no way for water to drain once it gets inside besides evaporating. Also, when putting the fire out, if possible use a hose that has a mist mode, that works best and doesn't end up putting too much water inside.

Fire pit - awesome

Love it ! I picked this one especially for its design and we didnt got disappointed! It great size for a fire pit and we also used it for bbq and marshmallows a couple times! Its so nice at nights to look at it and enjoy the fire and the moon and stars to look at ! Delivery was very fast and it arrived well packed and safe! 5* because its a great price for a great size and material made fire pit! I can highly recommend it ! It was worth every penny ;)
